Notes on Welcoming You Back
If there’s anything the past few months have taught us, it’s the healing power of flowers and plants and the human race’s capacity for kindness. From across the globe and closer to home, your orders have continued to come in - keeping us active and busy but perhaps most importantly, keeping our spirits lifted. There have been plants in pots for grandparents whose grandchildren miss them, Spring wreaths to bring a touch of nature to the isolated, home scents for new homeowners, and bespoke bouquets for brides and grooms on wedding days that, although different to the ones they’d first dreamt about, were indisputably memorable nonetheless.

Thanks to these thoughtful gestures, your continued support, our new online store and the hard work of our dedicated staff, we have been able to keep our business afloat through these challenging times. And now on Monday May 17th, we get to reopen our doors and thank you in person.

“Those little purchases made all the difference”

Mark

This past week, we’ve been busy dusting down our shelves and stocking them afresh with some new tools, treats and objects. Flora-wise, we’re excited about our ever-evolving range of house plants, from mini cacti right up to towering howea forsteriana palms. To fill your vases, there are new dried flowers for summer and fresh bouquets abundant with summer blooms that can be made to order and collect.

For the home there are handmade soaps by our friends at Saipua farm in upstate New York, natural vegan products by Be Soap My Friend and new to The Garden, Lilly’s Eco Clean range.

To accompany your gifts, we have a new collection of cards by Irish artist Maggie O’Dwyer and luxury crafted chocolate from Wexford by Bean and Goose. For your plants, we’ve gearing you up to plant and grow with watering cans, pruners, pots and containers and our favourite - a new seaweed feed from Connemara.

For anyone who can’t make it in to visit us, you can still shop online with us here, 24 hours a day. And don’t forget, we offer delivery in Dublin (Monday - Saturday) and nationwide (Tuesday to Friday) on all bouquets, gifts and a selection of houseplants.

“We look forward to creating again this summer for your weddings and gardens. We can’t wait to bring the city back to life, be that with the reappearance of our hand-tied bouquets in the streets or by filling up our steps again with plants and flowers.

In the long term, I know that this little pause to reflect and grow the business will benefit the customer, myself, the team and more.

Look forward to seeing you in store, ”
