Crassula ovata is the jade plant, also known as the money plant or money tree: a slow-growing succulent with thick, rounded leaves, often edged with red. We deliver it in Dublin with our own drivers and across Ireland by DPD.

It comes from the Cape in South Africa, and over many years it can become a small, branching tree. It wants the brightest spot you have. Water it every 7 to 10 days, letting it dry out in between.

It comes in a plastic nursery pot, without the terracotta pot in the photographs; our plant pots are here.

Delivery

In Dublin, our own drivers deliver Monday to Saturday, the same day if you order before 11am. We don't deliver on Sundays or bank holidays.

Across the rest of Ireland, it goes with DPD, Tuesday to Friday. Order before 11am the day before; most arrive the next working day; when DPD is busy, it can take two to three working days. Any size marked “Dublin Only” stays with our own drivers, and checkout tells you if a plant can't go to your address.

The jade plant is one of our easy care house plants; for looking after it, see our plant care products.
